Will Burst slow my website down?
No. Burst runs directly on your own server with no external tracking scripts. Unlike Google Analytics, there’s no third-party code making round-trips to other servers. Most sites see no measurable performance difference. Some see an improvement after removing GA.
Is Burst GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Burst anonymises visitor data by default and offers fully cookieless tracking. In most cases, you can run Burst without any consent banner. It’s compatible with GDPR, CCPA, PECR and NFADP.
Do I need a cookie banner?

Where is my data stored?
