This is something we’ve been waiting for ourselves: Sales analytics for WooCommerce right inside your Burst Pro Dashboard. WooCommerce obviously displays sales data, and Burst shows visitor analytics; now Burst Pro combines this data in a singular dashboard to bring sales data into visitor data.
It’s designed to give you actionable insights for your WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads store, directly enhancing the analytics experience in WordPress.
A new sales analytics dashboard for WooCommerce
Once you update to the latest version of Burst Pro with WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads active, you’ll see a new “Sales” tab in your dashboard. There’s no setup required. It starts tracking automatically, giving you a clear and focused overview of your store’s performance and strengthening sales analytics.
Here’s what you’ll find.

A visual sales funnel
One of the most effective ways to understand your customers’ journey is through a sales funnel. We’ve designed a simple, clear funnel that shows you exactly how visitors move from their first visit to a purchase, a key component of analytics in WooCommerce.
It tracks five key steps:
- Visitors started session
- Viewed a product
- Added to cart
- Started checkout
- Purchased
For each step, you can see the percentage of visitors who drop off, helping you find the biggest areas for improvement. If you see a huge drop-off between adding a product to the cart and starting the checkout, you know to improve your shopping cart experience.

Key metrics and actionable opportunities
Beyond the funnel, the sales dashboard puts essential metrics right in front of you. You get a clean overview of your conversion rate, abandoned carts, average order value, and total revenue, all part of advanced sales analytics for WooCommerce.
All this data is nice, but it should help you decide what to do next.
This is where the new “Opportunities” block comes in. It analyzes your data and highlights specific, actionable insights. Instead of leaving you to interpret the data, it might tell you things like:
- “Cart abandonment rate is 78.95%.” A direct signal that you should investigate friction in your checkout process.
- “Checkout abandonment spikes on mobile Safari.” A clue that a technical issue might be costing you sales on a specific browser.
- “95.9% of users drop off before reaching checkout.” A clear indicator that visitors aren’t being convinced to add items to their cart.
Currently, these opportunities are based on a set of carefully designed rules. We are already working on integrating machine learning to provide even more specific and intelligent recommendations specific to your store.
A note on your historical sales data
When you update, you’ll notice that sales data is only available from the day you installed the new version.
This is because Burst is privacy-first and we can’t reliably connect past, anonymous visitor data to sales that happened before the sales tracking feature was active. Creating that link retroactively would involve guesswork, and we would rather give you 100% accurate WooCommerce sales analytics going forward than risk providing data that isn’t quite right.
We are exploring a tool that could try to import historical data for existing users, but it’s important to be transparent: it will never be perfectly accurate. For now, Burst Pro will start building a clear, precise picture of your sales performance from this point on.
What should we integrate next?
This is just the beginning for sales analytics in Burst. We built this feature because so many of you asked for a simple, self-hosted way to track WooCommerce performance. We have plans for WooCommerce Subscriptions to better help SaaS companies improve their website.
Now, we want to hear from you again. What eCommerce or forms plugin should we integrate next to enhance analytics? Your feedback directly shapes what we build. Let us know what tools you use and what insights would help you the most.
You can add a feature request or open a support ticket with your feedback! We really appreciate all the feedback, so feel free to share!
