Manage Burst Statistics across all your sites with MainWP

Burst Statistics, both the free and Pro version, now integrates with MainWP. If you manage multiple WordPress sites from a central dashboard, you can monitor and configure your Burst installations across every site without logging into each one individually.

To use this integration, you need to enable the Main WP option in each client website first.

What the integration does

By installing the Burst MainWP extension on your MainWP dashboard site, you can:

  • View analytics from all your child sites in one overview
  • Manage Burst settings across multiple installations at once
  • Keep track of traffic, goals, and reports without site-hopping

The extension works with both Burst Statistics (free) and Burst Statistics Pro on your child sites.

How to install the plugin from GitHub

The plugin is currently hosted on GitHub at github.com/Burst-Statistics/burst-mainwp. To install it on the WordPress site that runs your MainWP dashboard:

  1. Open the repository: https://github.com/Burst-Statistics/burst-mainwp
  2. In the sidebar, there’s a section ‘releases’. Click the one labeled ‘latest’
  3. Below the heading ‘Assets’, click the first link, not one that has ‘source’ in it. It will download a zip file.
  4. In your MainWP dashboard site, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
  5. Select the downloaded ZIP file and click Install Now
  6. Activate the plugin

Once activated, the Burst extension will appear in your MainWP menu, ready to connect to any child site that has Burst Statistics or Burst Statistics Pro installed.

Coming soon to WordPress.org

We’re submitting the plugin to the official WordPress plugin repository. Once it’s approved, you’ll be able to install it directly from your dashboard via Plugins → Add New, with automatic updates included. No more manual downloads. We’ll update this post as soon as it goes live.

Until then, the GitHub release above is the recommended way to get started, and we welcome issues and feedback in the repository.
