GA was built for analysts. You’re running a business.

Google Analytics has hundreds of reports, five-tab dashboards and enough configuration options to keep a full-time data analyst occupied. That’s useful if you have one. If you’re building a product, running campaigns or growing a newsletter, it’s mostly noise.

You need to know which campaigns bring people who actually convert, which pages are working and whether your traffic is growing. Not a 40-tab report builder you open twice and then give up on.

The few features that change what you do

Campaign tracking, goal tracking and a clear dashboard. Nothing that takes three hours to configure and then gets ignored.

Automatic campaign tracking

Tag your links with UTM parameters and Burst shows which campaigns, sources and channels bring visitors who convert. Share different links in different places and compare them directly.

Unlimited goal tracking

A goal is any action that matters to your business: a form fill, a button click, a page visit. Set up as many as you need and see which pages and traffic sources drive them.

URL parameter tracking

Understand affiliate traffic, ad referrals and any parameterised link. See where visitors come from at a level that GA’s “Direct” bucket hides entirely.

Geolocation

See where your visitors are coming from by country and region. Useful when you’re targeting a specific market or running location-based campaigns.

Focused dashboard

One view, the numbers that matter. No 47-item navigation, no custom report builder, no “data threshold applied” warnings. Open Burst and you know what’s happening.

Your data, your server

All analytics stay on your own WordPress site. Google doesn’t see your visitor data, your campaign results or your conversion numbers.

What’s a UTM campaign? (And why does it matter?)

A UTM campaign is a tag you add to any link. Share one link on Instagram and another in your newsletter, and Burst shows you which one actually brought people who signed up. You don’t need to touch any code. You create a tagged link inside Burst, share it and the data appears automatically.

Most analytics tools tell you visitors came from “Social” or “Email”. UTM campaigns tell you which specific post, which specific email, which specific ad. That’s the difference between “social media is working” and “this Instagram caption brought 40 signups”.

What entrepreneurs say

“Excellent plug-in. I had Google Analytics, I installed Burst stats and it gives me the stats I need without all the overhead. My pagespeed score improved too!”

Your visitors’ data stays on your server

No external servers

Burst runs entirely on your WordPress site. Your analytics data never leaves your server or gets processed by a third party.

No cookies required

Burst tracks visits without cookies or fingerprinting. No consent banner needed, and nothing to slow your site down.

Your data, your business

Your campaign data and conversion numbers belong to you. Google doesn’t see them.

Built by two people who wanted clearer data

We built Burst because GA kept showing us information we didn’t need while hiding the one thing we actually wanted to know: which campaigns were working. We run sites ourselves. We know what it’s like to open a dashboard and leave more confused than when you started.

Burst is what we wished existed. A clear view of your traffic, your campaigns and your goals. Nothing else is competing for attention.

Frequently asked questions

What’s a UTM campaign and do I actually need one?

A UTM campaign is a tag you add to any URL. When someone clicks a tagged link, Burst records which campaign, source and medium brought them. It’s how you know whether your Instagram bio link, your newsletter or your Facebook ad is actually driving signups. If you share links in more than one place, UTM campaigns are worth setting up.

How do I set up my first goal?

In your Burst dashboard, go to Goals and click Add Goal. You can track a specific page visit (like a thank-you page after a form submission), a link click or any custom event. Once it’s set up, Burst shows you how many times that goal was completed and which sources drove it. Most goals take under two minutes to create.

Do I need any technical skills to use Burst Pro?

No. Burst installs like any WordPress plugin. The Creator plan features (campaigns, goals, geolocation) are all configured through the Burst dashboard. No code, no tag manager, no developer required.

What’s the difference between Burst Statistics free and the Creator plan?

The free version of Burst gives you a clear traffic overview and one goal. The Creator plan adds unlimited goal tracking, UTM campaign tracking, URL parameter tracking and geolocation. If you’re running campaigns, tracking affiliate links or trying to understand what converts on your site, you need Creator.

Can I track more than one site?

Yes. The Creator plan is available for a single site or up to five sites. You install Burst on each one and activate it with your license. Each site gets its own separate dashboard and analytics.
